I dive as shark safety at One Ocean Diving, off Haleiwa — research-led charters with Galapagos, sandbar, and tiger sharks, and nothing between you and them. The job is unglamorous: read the animal, hold the spacing, stay between the guest and the thing they came to see. Same work on Netflix's Shark Whisperer.

Six years behind the lens.
The photography still follows the diving rather than driving it. That's mostly why the animals in these frames are behaving normally — nobody is chasing them for a shot. I sell the work in small editions.
